Three-Dimensional X-Ray

At Pelican Dental we strive to provide the most accurate diagnosis and treatment of your dental needs. We utilize a Vatech CBCT Unit (cone beam computed tomography) – a three-dimensional x-ray. This unit produces high quality images with some of the lowest radiation in the industry.  

The 3D images provide additional information that cannot be obtained through conventional methods. The most common use is for the treatment planning and placement of dental implants. Additionally, the images produced help identify, diagnose and determine the prognosis of teeth with problems such as infections or cracks. Having this tool is a gold standard when completing complex dental procedures.
